Why Art Programs in Schools are Important in Youth Education

Throughout my lower, middle, and upper school years I always took any art classes that I could fit into my schedule and I always participated in drama productions. By being able to do this and being able to participate in the programs it opened doors for my future. I was able to realize that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. In the recent years the amount of funds allocated to art programs has greatly decreased. This decrease means that less and less children will recieve the benefits that these programs have to offer.

Hi Colleen Interesting topic. Due to problems in school budgets, music and art programs are the first to go to save some money. While I myself am not very interested in the field of art, it is very important especially in younger ages and any form of art is amazing is fueling your creativity and showing the real you. think there is something with your poll as when I clicked on it to try and fill it out, there was an error that didn’t allow me to take it. Good job.
